The first news I have for you is about me!!! I will be retiring from the CCSD Indian Education Opportunities Program at the end of September 2010! I started with the school district in May, 1989 as a teachers aide. I enjoyed that for 4 years and then was recruited to the Indian Education Office in September 1993. I have been there since then!!! 17 years! Thank you to all who have made my work enjoyable during that time! I have worked with Thelma Myers for all but 1 year at Indian Ed and she has truly been the best coworker anyone could have. She will still be there to help and answer your questions about CCSD services for your children! I don't know who will fill my spot but I know they will do a great job and maybe better! I will miss meeting new Natives to the community!

I have a long list of things I want to accomplish and one of them is do some volunteer work so you may see me here and there.
